This week we continue with a breakdown of the last of the retail chains that offer discounts to seniors.
Modell's Sporting Goods
10% discount everyday. (65+)
Palais Royal Department Stores
Save 20% on all purchases on the first Tuesday of every month with the Club 50 Plus. Apply at any store. Proof of age is required. (50+)
Pamida Discount Centers
10% discount on any item purchased during the discount sale. A discount sale is available once or twice a month. Residents are notified by news flyer of dates for the discounts. (55+)
Peebles Department Stores
Save 15% on all purchases on the first Tuesday of every month with the Club 50 Plus. Apply at any store. Proof of age is required. (55+)
Rite Aid
Rite Aid provides a benefit program called Living More. Benefits for enrolled seniors include 10% off all cash prescriptions, 10% off Rite Aid brand products every day, 10% off most other items every Tuesday and unadvertised monthly specials throughout the store. Must enroll at a local store. (60+)
Ross Dress For Less
10% off on Tuesdays. (55+)
Sally Beauty Supply
Sally Beauty Supply offers seniors 55+ a discount of between 5% and 25% on non-sale items. Discount varies on all individual products. Participation may vary by store. Some stores may require the purchase of an annual card to receive the senior discount. (55+)
Salvation Army Thrift Stores
Salvation Army stores typically offer a discount to seniors 55 and older. The discount can range from 10% to 20% off purchases everyday or on certain days of the week. (55+)
Savers
Save up to 40% off used merchandise one day a week. Discounts usually fall on Tuesdays or Wednesdays. (55+)
ShopKo
Receive a 15% discount on a selected day, typically Wednesday, during the first week of each month. Some restrictions apply. Please contact a local ShopKo for details and the day of the discount. (55+)
Stage Department Stores
Save 20% on all purchases on the first Tuesday of every month with the Club 50 Plus. Apply at any store. Proof of age is required. (50+)
Waldenbooks
Many Waldenbooks Stores have a Senior Savings Days. Please contact local store location for details. Participation may vary by location. (55+)
