Last week we discussed hotel senior discounts and some of those hotels which provide senior programs. To see last weeks newsletter and the hotels we reviewed; Marriott, Motel 6, Hyatt and Best Western, visit our newsletter archive page on the SeniorDiscounts.com web site. Click here. This week we will continue with our look at hotel discounts including a special discount for our SeniorDiscounts Card members from Choice hotels.

Choice Hotels

Choice Hotels is now offering SeniorDiscounts Card members a 20%-30% savings at more than 3,500 hotels across the United States. SeniorDiscounts Card members can save at any Comfort Inn®, Comfort Suites®, Quality®, Sleep Inn®, Clarion®, MainStay Suites®, Econo Lodge®, or Rodeway Inn®. Simply call the toll free number 800-4CHOICE and quote the discount #00062600. Card members can also save online by going to www.choicehotels.com and entering the code in the Special Rate ID field. InterContinental Hotels
Intercontinental has seven hotel chains under its banner; Intercontinental, Crowne Plaza, Hotel Indigo, Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Staybridge Suites and Candlewood Suites. All of these hotels offer a senior discount of at least 10% on the non-discounted room rate at any participating hotel in the US to AARP members. Not all of these discounts are listed on their web sites, but when making a reservation they do offer a section called "Room Rate Selection," which allows you to select the senior rate.

La Quinta
La Quinta hotels operates five different brands; Baymont Inn & Suites, La Quinta Inns, La Quinta Inn & Suites, Woodfield Suites and Budgetel, all of which offer a discount to seniors. La Quinta Inns and La Quinta Inns and Suites provide a savings up to 30% for people 55 and older or members of AARP. Baymont Inn & Suites, Woodfield Suites and Budgetel will give 10% off to everyone 55 and older but do not extend the discount to AARP members under 55. All of the chains offer these rates when making the reservation online, just select "Senior Citizen" or "AARP" in the "Special Rate Options" section when making a reservation. You can also call their toll free numbers listed on our web site.

As we said last week, we have all of these hotels and more listed on our web site. To search for the hotels and their senior discounts, click here. We will be looking at some more hotel chains and the discounts they provide in the next newsletter.
