every day. A historic and social center park, Lakewood's Heritage Center features
a look at 20th Century lifestyles. Located in beautiful Belmar Park, the museum
currently has over 10 historic structures, 30,000 artifacts preserved, a festival
area and an outdoor amphitheater. The museum is organized into four thematic
centers that include buildings and exhibits specific to key eras in the 20th
century.

Informs us that at South Carolina State Parks,
South Carolina residents who are at least 65 years of age, legally blind or disabled,
qualify for certain rate reductions. These qualifying residents receive 35% off
admission fees, camping, picnic shelters, golf greens fees, and fishing pier
admission. These qualifying residents may also purchase a Palmetto Passport for
a 50% discount for admission to all state parks for the period of one year. The
same rate reductions are extended to out-of-state U.S. residents only at the
following parks: Baker Creek, Calhoun Falls, Hamilton Branch, Hickory Knob,
Lake Hartwell, and Sadlers Creek.
